PHMB  Description : 

Polyhexamethylene guanidine hydrochloride (PHMB)  has been widely used in medicine as a bactericidal preservative. Used as a medical product for disinfecting contact lenses, eye drops, and surgical procedures. Due to the strong tolerance of PHMB to the eye, it can be used as a treatment of Acanthamoeba keratitis, prevention and treatment of other eye diseases, and PHMB is also widely used in cosmetics, personal care products, textiles, food industry and other Chemicalbook. With the development of science and technology, polyhexamethylene guanidine hydrochloride has many new applications. Examples include as a flocculant, in swimming pools and industrial water treatment as a bactericidal algicide, in oil injection water as a fungicide, and can be used to clean and remove harmful substances on glassware and other hard surfaces.
