Uses

D-Lysergic Methyl Ester is used in preparation of Serotonin agonists. Lysergic  and Iso-lysergic  are the main cleavage products formed on alkaline hydrolysis of the alkaloids which are characteristic of ergot. Potent hallucinogen; non-selective serotonin receptor agonist.
