What is S-Acetyl -L-Glutathione?
S-Acetyl-L- glutathione is the acetylation product of reduced glutathione. The acetyl group is connected to the sulfur atom of cysteineto protect the molecule from oxidation in the digestive tract and prevent the decomposition of glutathione. , So that it can enter cells through the intestine and be directly absorbed.
