White Fused Alumina Corundum Aluminum Oxide with Great Quality
Aluminium oxide (alumina) is an inorganic material, chemical formula Al2O3, is a high hardness compound, melting point of 2054 ºC, boiling point of 2980 ºC, ionizable ionic crystals at high temperatures, commonly used in the manufacture of refractory materials.
Industrial alumina is prepared from bauxite (Al2O3-3H2O) and hard alumina , for the high purity requirements of Al2O3, generally prepared by chemical methods.Al2O3 has a lot of homogeneous heterocrystals, there are more than 10 kinds of known, there are mainly three kinds of crystal type, namely, α-Al2O3, β-Al2O3, γ-Al2O3, which has different structure and different properties, and is almost completely converted to γ-Al2O3 when the high temperature is above 1300 ºC. At high temperatures above 1300°C, it is almost completely converted to α-Al2O3.
