Use for :   

1. Thrombin is used for local hemostasis of small blood vessels or capillaries, such as hemostasis at the puncture site of heparinized patients. Surgical hemostasis is often used together with absorptive gelatin sponge for hemostasis of small vessels that are difficult to be ligated during operation and traumatic bleeding, etc.

2. Oral solution can be used for hematemesis and black feces (upper gastrointestinal bleeding) .

               

                Thrombins, a white to grayish white amorphous substance, are usually lyophilized. Thrombin is a hemostatic drug, which is mainly suitable for hemostasis of small blood vessels, capillaries and solid organs with difficulty in hemostasis. Used for hemostasis of trauma, surgery, oral cavity, ear, nose, throat, urology, burn, orthopedics, neurosurgery, ophthalmology, obstetrics and gynecology, and gastrointestinal bleeding. Thrombin acts directly on the last step of blood coagulation process, and converts soluble fibrinogen in plasma into insoluble fibrin, so as to achieve the purpose of quick and effective hemostasis. In addition, it can promote the mitosis of epithelial cells and accelerate wound healing. It is a quick-acting local hemostatic. Thrombin is suitable for the bleeding of small blood vessels, capillaries, solid organs and other kinds of bleeding that is difficult to ligate and stop bleeding .
