Bacitracin zinc is a complex formed by bacitracin and zinc ions. It is a polypeptide antibiotic and is currently the most widely used antibiotic feed additive. The zinc content is generally 2% to 12%. The artificially synthesized product is white or light yellow powder with a special odor. It is easy to deliquesce into a weakly alkaline substance and is easily soluble in water, , and ethanol. Bacitracin zinc has a strong antibacterial effect on Gram-positive bacteria and also has antibacterial effect on some Gram-negative bacteria.


Function of Zinc bacitracin
 

The zinc content is generally 2% ~ 12%. The synthetic product is white or slightly yellow powder, has special odor, is easy to moisture as weak alkaline substances, soluble in water,  ethanol. Zinc bacitracin has strong antibacterial effect on gram-positive bacteria and some gram-negative bacteria.

affect phosphatide function and cell's transmission of mucopeptide compound.
2) Inhibiting protoplasmic function and integrating protoplasm with cytomembrane so as to
canes the discharge of various ions, amino acids, pyridines and purines in the cell.
