The Montcalm County seat joins three other communities that now offer free recycling services to the general public.
County officials celebrated the opening of new recycling compactors in Stanton with a ribbon-cutting on Thursday afternoon. The two compactors — one for cardboard and the other for paper, plastic, metal, glass and cartons — are located in the parking lot shared by the Mid-Michigan District Health Department and the Montcalm County Commission on Aging just off M-66 on Stanton’s north side.
