Our campus provides primary care and specialty health services, including mental health care, audiology and speech, dental services, care for Veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), vocational rehabilitation, and more. VA provides care to Veterans through community providers when VA cannot provide the care needed. Community care is based on specific eligibility requirements, availability of VA care, and the needs and circumstances of individual Veterans.

The Canteen Retail Store, Food Court and Barber Shop are located in Building 17H and are open the followings days and times, but may be subject to change:

Saturday 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Veterans can apply for VA health care by visiting the Admissions Office, which is located in the lobby of Building 361. The Admissions Office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. For information about VA health care eligibility or how to enroll for VA health care, call 877-222-8387 Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.

After you are enrolled for care, visit the New Patient Orientation site to learn how navigate our health care system and to begin accessing  your VA health care services.

There is free parking available for patients and visitors of Veteran inpatients throughout the medical center campus, including designated spaces for handicapped parking.

Wheelchair availability: Wheelchairs are available upon arrival for patients who need them to access the building.

The VA Maryland Health Care System operates a Veterans Museum that is located in the historic Grist Mill on the campus of the Perry Point VA Medical Center. The Grist Mill, which was built around 1750 on the shores of the Susquehanna River, is on the National Register of Historic Places and is one of the oldest known structures in the entire VA system.

The Volunteer Transportation Programs utilizes VA volunteers to provide transportation for Veteran patients to and from their homes to scheduled appointments at the Perry Point VA Medical Center between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. To be eligible for the Volunteer Transportation Program, Veterans must meet the following criteria:

There is a volunteer run coffee stand located on the ground floor of Building 361 by the Outpatient Clinic waiting area that serves free coffee and tea to Veteran patients and their family members. Quivey’s Coffee and Vending is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
